I've decided to add a new blog post on Fridays. I know the name "speed linking" is not exactly original but I'm not feeling very creative right now.

What follows is five links that I consider to be worth sharing. They are in no special order but each will have some short commentary.

1) Warning: Blogging Has Side Effects - I enjoy reading the posts on this blog as they are always funny and insightful at the same time. This one should put a smile on any bloggers face. Followed by a quick look over their shoulder to be sure Ms. Q is not peeking in their window.

2) 186 Diggs and Still in Upcoming? - This is an interesting article that shows how crazy Digg can be. Why would an article with 186 Diggs still be in the upcoming section?

3) Fixing JavaScript Affiliate Links in Wordpress 2.1.1 - Ryan has another blog dedicated to X-Box gaming (get a Wii you n00b!!!) and I was pleasantly surprised to find this new blog that he started. This blog is worth tracking as he has some good tips for the budding web monkeys out there.

4) Services you’d keep using if they weren’t free - This is a great article that looks at many of the things we use for free on the Internet and asks if we would still use them if they were not free.

5) Delete a Filename with an Invalid Character - This article (and the whole blog) appeals to the sysadmin in me. Most of my readers may not find this blog very useful but enough will.
