Something occurred to me today. Because my domain name is so short I am able to use it as a name for a Pokemon.
In an effort to increase traffic here I have begun seeding rare Pokemon into the GTS while asking for common Pokemon in exchange. My hope is that people will get the Pokemon from me, see the domain name as the Pokemon name and type it into their browser!
If you acquired one of my Pokemon via the GTS with the name of "HMTK.COM" please leave a comment so we know where the Pokemon went!
If you got one of mine and did not enter your own trainer location (thus depriving me of a dot on my globe) then go to the globe and mark down your location!

How in the world did you come up with that awesome idea?
Bravo, man. Bravo.
I did not get one.. But I got a Chikorita from you through Serebii to this site.
And after that i’ve bookmarked it.. i’s quite alot good reading so keep up the Good work.
I’m going to keep putting up starters on GTS and only ask for Bidoof/Starly/Shinx in return. Too many people are asking for things that they should not ask for and gumming up GTS.
I can only hope this might lead others to also offer starter Pokemon in exchange for easy Pokemon.
I tried doing this with the non-Diamond/Pearl starters but they sat on GTS too long.
I’ve already hatched my Cyndaquil batch for Monday and I may also give each one a rare berry.
I’d like to reserve a cyndaquil…wink wink. Actually, when are you going to post them up on saturday?
i meant monday…sorry
I belive I have them set for 12:10 PM EDT. Check the previous Farming articles and you will see for sure.
I’m going to keep on seeding GTS with starters until I get tired of it. There will at least be two or three done a day though.
I wonder what some return on investment figures would like for advertising in Pokemon.
It all depends on what you are advertising.
I’m putting the URL for this site on them as their name. When someone gets the Pokemon they will likely type in the URL and come here to find the Pokemon content. They will then see the Farming articles and ask me for more Pokemon. They then tell their friends and so on.
I imagine that if enough folks started doing it there would be a backlash. For now I have seen a serious upswing in the comments on my Pokemon articles.
