I've got two news items dealing with Nintendo for you today.
Item Number One
The Wii is now on MySpace. I can't really tell you anything about the site because you can just follow the link and see for yourself.
Item Number Two
Gamers Worldwide Already Have Downloaded More Than 4.7 Million Retro Games, at a Rate of 1,000 an Hour. Yes, The Virtual Console now has 100 classic games!
What are the top sellers?
- Super Mario Bros.® (NES®)
- Super Mario 64® (N64®)
- Mario Kart 64™ (N64®)
- Super Mario World® (SNES®)
- The Legend of Zelda® (NES®)
In case you are wondering, yes I have downloaded all of those games. The only game I regret downloading is Super Mario 64. I just can't play that game without feeling sick. It's a problem I have with a lot of FPS games too.
Zelda II is set to be released on the Virtual Console on June 4th. I do not know If I will bother with that one. I did not care for it on the NES so I'll probably just skip it.

I have yet to download any VC games in Wii… are they worthwhile?
Mario Kart 64 is worth it. If you get no other game get Mario Kart 64.
Second pick would have to be one of the Zelda games. Either the original or Link to the Past. Both provide hours of play time.
Cool, I think I will get them when I get some Wii Points … now I just need to spend some time and do more research ;)
Buy me a cup of Java haha, was that your own mod to the beer plug in Steve?
Did you work with Java much? You know the name had nothing to do with a meeting in a coffee shopw, it was the result of a brainstorming session… very dissapointing….
Ack, ack, cough, cough… my throat is so dry…
I tried java out and found it annoying due to the lack of pointers. I use pointers a lot on C and not having them in java turned me off to it.
