I just found out. Props to Steve Sandells from wotZcool.com for sending me a message about it.
It looks like the same folks who hacked him last time are up to it again.
This time they were being a bit trickier by loading junk in iframes in the background while leaving john's actual content up and running.
This results in a very slow load time but, otherwise the site looks as it normaly does.
I contacted John but he already knew.
Last time this happened he had to pull his blog down for almost a day and plug the hole that was exploited. Hopefully he'll get this new hole fixed soon!
If you do visit John's blog JohnChow.com be sure to blast out your cookies and what-not. You don't know what might be lurking there after the hackers strike!

Can’t get to it here either…
This is horrible, what will all the bloggers blogging about blogging and blogs. Most likely that his site is down. How many times can I say blog in this blog comment.
BLOG!
I don’t understand why hackers can’t leave bloggers alone…it’s just sad they have nothing better to do.
I haven’t been to JC’s page in a while. Guess it’s a good thing I didn’t check it out today!
HMTK seems to be running fairly slowly for me. Anyone else experiencing this?
On the other hand, I notice you got bumped up to a PR4. Nice. Manthem.net went from 0 to 4 for the first time during this update. Turned a new site into a PR4 site in under two months. Not too shabby.
I used to be PR 5.
My daughter’s site YellowPole.com went from zero to five in two months… go figure?
Nice Steve, mine bumped from 0->5 in 3 months also … this update is a little odd.
Steve, I added your blog to my blogroll on my homepage. Hope this help for the next update!
My site had a PR of 3 when it had a default osCommerce install on it with no inbound links, 100% duplicate content with lots of other default installs, including the official osCommerce demo site…. go figure!!!
Oh yeah, my other blog went to PR04 at its first update with a few posts on it, no change at this update.
WP blogs with well themed content usually seem to land a 4… getting 5 or 6 is tough…
HMTK seems to be running ridiculously slow for me. It took three tries to post this. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah. My site is running slow. It’s on a “shared” server so it could be caused by another site on the same server.
You’d think he’d do a better job securing his box… just look at all this crap:
Server: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.4.6 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635.SR1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.28 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
Who needs FrontPage?! lol
Any ideas on how they got in? Was this an exploit we should all be worried about or was John targeted because of his high “dot com mogul” profile?
