Has Digg integrated duggmirror?
This is strange. I was just taking a quick look over on Digg and after clicking on a story that was posted on a blog the direct Digg link took me right to duggmirror!

This is very strange because the direct link to the story works fine! The blog is not down but up.
Has Digg finally listened to its critics and implemented this change so people will not be sent to sites that are down?
Good find. Funny how digg takes so many sites down with traffic that won’t convert ;)
Just out of curiosity I posted this on Digg to see if I could get a reaction.
After checking my server logs (and Digg) the story was buried and… the last referral link on this sotry was:

Hmmm… An internal digg system was used to visit my site and then the story was buried. Democracy or Stalinism in action? You decide.
It’s amazing how they keep getting away with this. You’re not even saying anything bad about them, just pondering whether they integrated a certain feature.
No it is more likely that the admin decided to do a redirect for all links referrals that came from digg and pointed them to the duggmirror copy, instead of killing their own server.
