Humans
The humans of Rakan are a varied lot. They range from the highest nobility to the lowest wretch found wandering the docks. They are also the most numerous. Nearly 90% of the population of the Rakan Empire is human and as the most populous race in the empire they enjoy the most perks of citizenship. Infact, no other race is allowed full citizenship in the Empire

Human Lands: The Empire of Rakan is an immense land. It would take years to properly visit all of its locations and large volumes to properly talk of its history.

Notes:
Clerics: Beneficial spells can not be cast on members of opposing religions and baneful spells can not be cast on members of the same religion. Human gods have their own goals in the world and keep a very close eye on what their followers do with the powers granted them. However if the spell in question furthers the gods goals it will be allowed. (i.e. clerics of a healing deity can heal anyone, clerics of a god of trickery can cast baneful spells on their fellow followers)
Humans have many dialects though most have passed into history in favor of a single 'common' tongue of the Rakan. All humans are required by law to learn the common tongue any other language training is secondary at best. Humans view religion in a similar fashion to the Culahn. They have Druids but the most powerful are the Clerics. There is one important price to be paid for having the unlimited powers of the divine, clerics of opposing deities will not work together. It is also common for a cleric to do battlefield conversions of wounded soldiers before healing them. The gods of the humans are very powerful and they are very demanding. Humans can be of any alignment although the more civilized areas of the Empire lean towards Good and Lawfulness. Chaotics are tolerated among the frontiers were non-humans are seen in higher numbers, but not in the major cities. Humans view many of the other races with a lack of interest. They feel themselves to be the most superior, for is it not obvious that the gods had to limit the lifespan of humans because if they lived as long as elves they would be unstopable? To think, if a human can ammass as much power as a thousand year old elf in just a few years, think how powerful a thousand year old human would be! The humans of Rakan tend to have a wide variety of skin tones, hair colors and eye colors. They are tall, short, fat, skinny and everything in between. Humans can weigh from 90 pounds all the way to 500 pounds and some go even beyond these extremes. If their were to be an average human they would stand 5'10" and weigh 150 pounds. what truly adds to the variety inherint in the humans of Rakan is their past as seperate tribes before being united into a nation. Humans reach the age of maturity around 15 years and often die before their 60th birthday. The humans of Rakan have the widest variety of personalities of all the races. Some are as honor bound as the Culahn and others feel that oaths are only made while convient and easily broken if circumstances change. In the Empire of Rakan their is no stereotypical human. The only thing they all share in is an isattiable desire to accomplish as much as they can in their short lives.
