Now how is this different from a windows xp license they would let you activate 3x so really you got 9 activations with this family pack? or has windows changed their policy again…

I actually got Windows 7 Professional version and put it on my laptop, still getting used to it but I tell you… it is definitely what windows Vista should have been.

I can’t wait to upgrade my machine with this..
Vista is so problematic that I’m disgusted with it on a daily basis.
Good to see people are enjoying this upgrade.
Brings me hope for the future, haha.

I hadn’t heard about that. I was planning on buying Windows 7 for both of my home pcs and have been campaiging to have our work machines updated. That is a great deal for the money. The beta of Win 7 worked flawlessly (for once, congrats Microsoft for finally getting it right).

Finally, I was waiting for the opportunity to buy the family pack for quite some time. Windows 7 is so much better than infamous Vista, and I’m going to update real soon. Having a desktop + laptop + netbook set is becoming more and more common, hence the family pack is becoming a great solution to save some money!
