Now that I've given my blog a proper make-over I find myself asking a very important question; why are you here?
I'm talking about you, the blog reader, why are you reading this blog?
I can look through my server logs and see where people come from to get a general idea of what people are reading but, the majority of my traffic comes from search engines. Nearly 75% of my traffic, on any given day, is a new reader. That means only 25% of you stick around.
There are some bloggers who would love to have such a high rate of exposure via Google but, I would much rather have a high rate of returning readers.
This is why I am asking all of you this question. Please take a few moments to leave a comment so that I can make this blog better.

I first stopped by after seeing your comments on John Chow and Deep Jive Interests. No Googling here!
I admit I have no interest in gaming or Pokemon. Sorry!
I enjoy:
1) how you share the latest news on blogging (like MillionDollarAvatar).
2) How you dig around and test the latest New Thing like MyBlogLog and discover flaws and areas of improvement.
3) Your Army stories
4) Your cat stories
I haven’t gone through all your archives yet but I plan to!
I keep returning because I generally find something interesting.
Now that I think about it, I would say I like your army-related story posts the best. They allow me to learn more about you and they are more personal.
You don’t like the Pokemon and gaming stuff? Are you my wife posting in disguise? She doesn’t care for those two items either, but my daughter does!
I will be posting some more cat stories soon. Just last night I got a great shot of Koko in his “too small” cat bed. A couple of days ago I got some good pics of Kiko pushing Byter out of her cat bed. I just need to write up some stories to go with those posts.
My army stories are a mixed bag. I like to keep this blog family friendly (lots of kids come for the Pokemon articles) and, well, a lot of my “army” stories are about events that happened off-post when I was in my late teens/early twenties.
No I am not your wife in disguise. Just not into games: card, board, computer, fantasy …
The only fantasy game my wife likes to play is when she calls me “Brad Pitt” or “Harrison Ford” in the throes of passion.
I think its a game ;)
The Army stories are cool and I can relate.
There are so many army stories I would like to post but they would be “R” rated at the least!
Most involve drinking and women. One famous “Steve’s army days” stories is about how a night of drinking resulted in me waking up in a German insane asylum! The walls were padded and everything! Well, actually it was the room of someone who worked at the asylum but, you get the picture.
Another great one involves the German word Frühstück and is actually a very tame story, I may post that one.
I eventually quit drinking after a health scare that landed me in the hospital. I do still drink the occasional alcoholic beverage but I have not been “drunk” in over ten years.
An insane asylum? What a teaser! You have to give it up! Maybe have a link to “ARMYSteve” Either that or figure out way to make your stories PG-13.
Yes, it was an asylum, padded walls and all…
That story requires a little bit of a setup. I’ll write a related story today.
I’m here because you commented on my blog?
OK, what made you come back after the first click?
Came across your site through KingNomar on the top commentators :D
