The meaning behind”THE SECRET”
Has any one seen "The Secret"? If you have, you should have a better outlook on life. That is the purpose of the film, to improve our way of thinking.
The secret is feeling good. Positive thinking is the key.
How many of us spend the majority of our time focusing on the negative? Well this film tells us to change our way of thinking. In doing so, our life will then change. Our mind set sets the pace. It makes sense. After all, positive people attract positive people and visa versa. It follows the law of attraction. What you put out in the universe you will attract. It is all energy. We are all energy. Which all leads to the law of physics. You don't have to understand it all to accept it.
The film was very inspiring. It touched on the benefits of positive thinking with health and healing as well; sighting miracles from cancer and other cures. Theres no doubts that for centuries, if not longer, the power of the mind has been known and used to advance science in particular, and life in general. We as a society need to learn how to use it for personal use in our own homes-in our heads, on a daily basis, to better our lives.
We all have bad days, but don't think that somehow that can't be controlled by our way of thinking. It can! Thats what the secret is all about. If we all looked at things from a positive perspective all of the time, our society would definately be a better place to live. Wouldn't you all agree? Sound too good to be true? Our wants, dreams, goals are all attainable with time.
We must first ask the universe for them, visualize a means of achieving them, and then be willing to receive. It sounds so simple, but it really is. We just have to change our way of thinking. How hard is that? Maybe harder for some than others, but the rewards speaks for itself. No one will debate the power of the mind. Positive thinking creates an attraction force that is insurmountable.Likewise, Our feelings are shaped by our emotions,or thoughts. The key to life are our thoughts . Wake up with a positive message to share and your day will be a bright one. How do you feel about that?

Great post, but I have one little comment.
I think the key to The Secret is more than just positive thinking, though that is important. You can have positive thoughts all day long and still not get what you want. I believe the point they’re trying to make is “correct thinking” that is in harmonic alignment with your wants and desires. It’s a small but very important distinction.
One example I distinctly remember a secret teacher using was you can want to win the lottery to help your family, but that may not manifest. Thinking and visualizing your life of financial freedom may not win you the lottery, but would manifest ways to achieve that end.
I have seen the movie and interviews on tv with some of the teachers. It is very inspiring and what I believe to be true. It is difficult to overcome the years of negative thinking I have ingrained in myself, but I’ve been working on it.
I have no doubts that the energy created by our thoughts is very powerful and real. I have heard many doubting that it works. As a society as a whole, we’re not ready for it, but I’m so glad to see so many people at least thinking about the possibilities with an open mind. It’s a start.
I hear what you are saying and likewise agree. It is going to take a while before we are all on the same page as a society, but at least we are trying. All we can do is be a power by example. Keep up the good work! Good luck.
I love it
Positive thinking is a vital component of success. But there is an inescapable other side to the equation: the contrast without which we would never develop.
Deepak Chopra emphasises the importance of the contrast in life. According to him, without it there would be NOTHING. It is the challenges of life’s contrasts that hones and shapes us, and enables us to grow as beings.
So, in some ways, I think the slant the “secret” pushes is rather trite and corny with the Utopia they offer to all who follow their program. I can’t see that anyone can be completely in control of all circumstances in life.
Take health, for instance. People can have genetic predispositions to certain diseases. I knew four brothers whose father had died young of heart disease. Two of them were my colleagues. One by one they died of heart disease. The last brother passed away aged forty-five.
I doubt positive thinking would have enabled them to live longer than they did.
Without contrasts, which impact strongly despite our best efforts, life would be indefinable, if not downright boring; something like taking a ride on a rollercoaster that travels at walking pace on a dead level track.
Win a few, lose a few. That’s the name of the game of life.
