Whereas Digg used to be an extension of YouTube in the past, once they removed the videos from the front page, they also removed them from your friends' submitted stories. If you wanted videos you had to work pretty hard for them. I guess they realized that a) they have a large crowd of 12 year olds who are into funny videos and b)videos are the future so they can't kill them altogether.
