As a programmer I find some things funny that others do not. A prime example is the web comic xkcd. Look below to see a prime example of the humor that is xkcd.

If you hold your mouse over the image you will see the rest of the joke.
My wife finds no humor in the strip yet I often fall on the floor when reading them. If you get a chance check them out some are a lot more funny then this one.
Just remember one thing. If you put them on your site please don't forget the title text!!!

As a programmer, there are definitely jokes that are much more funny than for a non-programmer. I love the comics at xkcd.
The other day I was laughing about them with a co-worker, but I know for a fact that a lot of my friends would not have understood the jokes at all. In fact, I shared a page of programming quotes that I was seriously laughing out loud at (and I was by myself), but she found them not amusing at all. I’m not sure why it is, but there are a lot of humorous programming-related things out there. Perhaps it is because it’s so much like a whole different world. Or maybe it’s because programming appeals to a certain kind of person. Or maybe it’s because we’ve gone through heartache at all of these things and can laugh at them.
That comic that you shared was pretty good, by the way.
Yes, a lot of people do not understand the subtlety of xkcd. What is even worse is when someone acts like they get the joke and puts the comic on their blog and leaves off the title text.
I dont see anything when I go with the mouse over.. or click, hehe
