Same goes to me. I wouldn’t play any game at all if it wasn’t for the multiplayer modes.

I agree, the enjoyment of co-operative gameplay is quite high. Some of these newer games are so immersive by themselves, having real humans playing on your side really completes the experience.

In the last lines of the part of Paradise Lost where they talk about Satan and Hell, how does the proverb misery loves company apply? In what ways is this evident throughout this portion?

So, does he want to sit in hell and watch happy innocent people living in a joy that he will never know? Think about how many cases there are in your own experience, of people in some degraded state who have to drag other people down to their own level..

This is the part where Satan was banished from heaven and he wants to start another war with God. I don't understand how this proverb really applies though..

The most stressful kind of playing is competitive playing, whenever you are playing against real people whether it be for a team, or something it does get stressful, especially the higher you climb the ladder. It sometimes even takes the fun aspect out of it. I experienced this in a team that I used to play on, we started out at the bottom division, but we progressed as a team and got better, and wound up being in the best division, but eventually... it became more bout winning then friendships... so yeah... it just got stressful.
