Already the No. 1 seller in Electronics on the Amazon.com Web site in just 15 days since it was introduced on Feb. 9, Kindle 2 offers revolutionary wireless delivery of content in a new slim design with longer battery life, faster page turns, over seven times more storage, sharper images and a new read-to-me feature. Kindle 2 began shipping today to customers who were in line for the original Kindle and customers who pre-ordered beginning Feb. 9. New orders placed today will be released for immediate shipping.

It’s a nice piece of technology, but I still prefer books. I just like the feeling of picking up the book, opening it, and flipping through the pages. This does have its benefits for people who travel a lot though.
If the Kindle 2’s price is too steep, the original Kindle’s new discounted price might be a nice option at $220. The original Kindle continues to impress me. I look forward to trying Kindle 2.
Its future technology may current people not accept so fast but its awesome piece of technology with handsome look and great features.
It looks a great gadget, but I find it hard to see book sales dropping much. But you never know and if it, and future devices, can cut down on the number of books and (particularly) newspapers sold then that would be a good thing.
I have wanted one of these for awhile now. It is still too expensive for my taste at the moment, I think I will add it to my my X-man list!
