Anytime you win a contest you did not enter it is a scam. Besides, why would the Euromilliones lottery be sending out mail from Malaysia?

Hi. my bf received a letter (a real letter, not email) that tells him that he won the euromilliones lottery. The thing is… the letter was sent all the way from spain and we’re in malaysia. do you think its a scam?

There is a site (I need t odig it out) where a guy scammed the scammers. He has pictures and everything.

He has pictures of the scammer sholding signs in front of them with things (spelled out phoneticly) that say, “I am a homosexual”.

I just ignore that type of crap nowadays. I used to respond with a nasty message and then added phoenix@fbi.gov in the cc line. For some reason, I never got a “thank you” from the scammers. ;)

I remember hearing and see parts of the 20/20 program regarding Nigerian 419 scammers. It was a darn shame how many people fell for these scams.

Such mails are always ignored on my side. They only serve to confuse the less internet-savvy people, although people themselves should have realized that nothing comes free.
