How revolutionary is the iPhone?
At roughly the same price why would you buy an iPhone when the Nokia N95 is a better device? Not only is it a better device but it comes from a manufacturer that has been making cell phones for a long time.
When you buy Apple you are buying the label and the hype. When you buy Nokia you are buying a solid product with a proven track record.

Some of your points are valid. But in the end, its all about software. Ask yourself why there are 50x more iPhone users on Google than any other phone type? Saying its just hype is just as delusional as the apple fanboys…
