I dont bother looking, or checking Akismet for false positives, I just leave them to be deleted. Mails... Gmail does a good job of filtering spam, again, I dont bother looking at the spam folder unless something "go's missing"... so again, it does not really bother me... But... Also, when stuff does not get caught by Akismet and ends up in my awaiting authorization area I just look for the most common keywords and add them to my "this is spam" list in the options->discussion area of wordpress. The comment spam is very freaky. The usual drug ones but some freaky stuff with animals. I do a quick scroll to make sure it's all spam and yeesh. Does comment spam rally work? Hmm. I dunno.
