You should fight to bring them home but you should use a different slogan.

I'm one of those that say "support the troops by bringing them home."

What I mean when I say that is that my quarrel is with the people at the top giving the orders and not the ones faithfully serving.

The troops are doing what they joined up to do. Serve the country. Thank God someone does!

But they have been ordered into a mistake justified with lies.
Their service is being used for things not in the nation's interest.
They are serving with their lives for something other than the nation's interest.
The war in Iraq is a betrayal of the trust the troops gave the nation when they joined up.

If I feel the war is a mistake, what should I do? Should I let the troops continue to die over there?
Or should I honor their service and use the rights we have here to bring them home.

I feel the same way when people refer to the troops as "kids". A soldier is not a kid, s/he is a grown up. Calling them a child or kid is insulting.

I don't think its the case that they think soldiers need protecting, they are just playing politics... knowing attacking soldiers to be bad politics they are trying to be "anti war" whilst at the same time being "pro soldier"...

Somewhere behind these slogans / campaigns you will find yet another self serving politician trying to further their own career...

Do these people campaign for better medical treatment for the injured as part or their "support for the troops"?
