That is good to know!

Some new gamers do not believe me when I tell them that you can save at a fairy pool (while regenerating hearts) and then quit. Once you start the game again you will have all of your heart containers filled up!

Hey I figured it out You don't need the GC controller. When you are in the subscreen press the - button and up on the control pad on the Wiimote (In the #1 controller position), it will bring up the save menu.

Hey about the save menu feature. It is there... though I did it once I cannot do it again. I had the Wiimote set to player 1 and a Gamecube controller in the 2nd controller slot. I was holding A down on the GC controller and I'm not sure what I pressed on the Wiimote but the menu did come up. In fact I have a save on my game with the sword and no deaths that proves it. If you happen to figure out what I did let me know and I'll post if I find out what I did. There are many "cheats" that say it works but they don't. BTW the menu did have the retry option, many "cheats" say that retry is not available but whatever I did brought up the whole menu.
